Romeo is once again looking for that perfect home through NO fault of his own!
SC’s Romeo – 21yo Thoroughbred gelding
Romeo is a great character with loads of personality. He is approx 16.2hh and is sound and strong. Romeo has a good under saddle education, can work in a nice frame and knows his laterals, turning on the forehand, turning on the quarters etc.
He has a good few years left in him, he is exuberant and very playful – loves to play with other horses in the paddock and thoroughly enjoys human interaction. Romeo is great to catch, lead, tie up, float etc. He can be difficult about picking up feet (he just plants them and leans his weight on them) with some people but with others he will just lift them immediately. Behaves for the Farrier and does not kick, bite or misbehave.
Romeo is a windsucker and can suffer from gastric ulcers so his diet will need to be formulated to help prevent them flaring up and he may from time to time require medication if he has a bad flare up.
Romeo is not suitable for a VERY nervous rider as he tends to pick up on it and get nervous himself but otherwise he’s a great riding horse and has been ridden without issue at home, out on the trail and over small fences.
Romeo is currently being exercised by a 12yo girl.

Here are some new photos of Romeo! He is currently being exercised by a young girl, who thinks he's just fabulous. (Unfortunately her parents are not in a position to get her another horse)
Would you look at his expression? He just loves the attention and just loves to be doing something with somebody

Romeo has been adopted out to a wonderful new home! Look out for photos on his page over the next couple of weeks as we get piccies of him enjoying life with his new mum
