SC’s Irish Luck – 10yo Thoroughbred gelding

Lucky stands approx 15.2hh and is a very friendly horse. He is very green and has had no formal education other than very basic race training and very basic flatwork (ie moving off the leg, walk trot and canter aids, half halts). Lucky is not suitable for beginners or nervous riders because he’ll try to take advantage and requires a confident, capable rider (but not necessarily highly experienced).
He is good to tie, handle, float etc. He can be impatient and a little antsy with his hooves being handled but it is a very simple and easy matter to remind him to behave and he will pick up all 4 feet without a fuss. Lucky will push the boundaries and try it on with people but if corrected will behave very nicely.
He is a green Thoroughbred and has never been to any sort of show or rally and has only ever been out on the trail once in his life and he gets quite nervous and unsure until he becomes used to it and would need to be educated to relax and not mind the bustle of a show environment or being out somewhere new and strange.
He is doesn't mind traffic but is scared of dirtbikes.
Lucky has no vices at all, but has never been educated to work in a frame or to jump. He is however not in any rush whilst in the arena and will walk, trot and canter without rushing off and also comes back to a halt quite easily. He is usually fairly chilled out but will react to the usual worries for a TB such as being all by himself, a lot of wind, new and strange environments etc.
Lucky still looks for the rail when being ridden however is gaining confidence with his current rider to ride away from it.
