Read the amazing, heartbreaking story of a mare who was tortured and then shot because she would not get on a trailer. Of course this is in the USA, I have never heard of a cruelty case this bad in Aus (to horses that is). It is quite rare for me to get teary, but this certainly pulled some heart strings. I hope the guy who did this will go to jail for it, sadly this may not happen. Worse should happen to him than jail! Its amazing how a horse can go through something that bad and survive in the end! If even half those things happened to me i no i would not pull through. I think that rescue centres never get enough credit for the wonderful jobs they do!
