Is awesomest even a word???

Decided I was OVER being sick, over the recent dramas, over the money situation and over not being able to buy Clownfoal so I took Levi next door for some schooling in the arena just to sharpen him up after about 6 weeks of not riding...

He was more than brilliant! He worked exactly how I wanted, and because of the weather and not being ridden in a while he was so very full of himself and as a result had the most AMAZING impulsion and elevation in his strides today! It was incredible... every stride he felt like 19hh not 17! I was struggling to ride them half the time LOL He was so very sensitive as well, more so than normal so my aids only needed to be the lightest we've ever had them

He did everything I wanted, even some shoulder in (which he's always been dicey with), some traverse practise and the most perfect canter-strike-offs (which he's always been dicey with). He even did his first ever full half turn on the haunches! (THANKS to Steve Brady for showing me how to train that from the ground first)

So chuffed with him, the new suppliment plus more dental work and just a little bit of pizzazz on his part have done wonders!

No pics, I was all on my own (child and partner free for the day) but just HAD to share!

Who needs expensive Warmbloods when you've got a 50c OTTB? ROFL

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
