Romeo recently had his teeth looked at by Julie's vet when they were assessing a lameness. (he only had a stone bruise)

That vet was very sure that he was only 11 years old, not 21. So they got their teeth book out and compared the teeth and yes they were confident that Romeo was only 11 years old.

So the Adopter called the Racing WA people and gave them a very accurate description to them and they confirmed that Romeo is actually 11 years old.

His actual name in the TB studbook is Hyper Rise and look - the ID certificate confirms it is definately 100% him! http://www.studbook.org.au/horseidcertificate.aspx?hid=684129

So when we origionally got somebody to do a search on him when he first came, the searcher came up with the wrong horse! What a happy coincidence for Romeo and his adopter!

So the old feller is really a young feller but is taking very good care of his new mum Smile
