Due to all the interest in my horse stories I thought I may bore you all with another tale...........
It began in 1999 while driving to work I spotted a very skinny ,neglected 12 hh. grey pony standing in a paddock looking very sad
After a few weeks I could not stand it anymore so I went to see the owner. She told me that her kids had grown up and left home and that they had done pony club on him. She also said that he was 11...more like 18 when I looked at his teeth I could not leave him there as the woman had no idea on how to look after an aged pony I gave him to Kirsty on her 3rd birthday and she spent many a weekend being lead by old muggins ME Old Albbie is a sweet old man One day while feeding him I put his dinner in his bowl when Berry walked up to steal his dinner.Albbie let fly with a double barrel kick only problem was I was behind him walking away to give Berry her dinner I thought I was hit by a bus and my thigh went as black as night One day I was sitting with Albbie telling him about a little pinto mare who will be coming to live with us . I said " Albert you'll fall in love with her as she's soooo pretty" which is exactly what he did Kirsty was doing PC on him but he stuck to his girl friends butt like glue so we had to leave him home and use our SPOTTY BUM instead Old Albbie is a sweet old man and has never been sick or misbehaved. At 26 he will stay with me forever

What a cutie, are you ok, i have never been kicked by a horse (only been around them for about 2years) but they have a lot of power behind them. If it hasn't healed yet, i hope you get better soon

Thanks it happened years ago and it wasn't the first time I was Kicked by a horse.. About 8 years ago the neighbours child went to pat our buckskin gelding and he swung his butt to kick I grabed the kid only to recieve a double barrel kick straight in the groin missed the 'family jewels' by a mere centimeter Leg went black as night with the most visious bruise I have ever had I nearly became a gelding myself that day........
