The 2009-2010 Perth Entertainment Book is scheduled for release mid-May, so now is the time to register orders for yourself, family and friends.

This book is great value and helps Second Chance Horse Rescue in our fundraising efforts as we receive $13 from the sale of each book that we sell.

Second Chance Horse Rescue is providing ongoing support to the equine victims of the bushfires in Victoria. Twenty percent (20%) of our fundraising profits in 2009 will be sent to TREW (Triple R Equine Welfare) in Victoria. Note: There are a number of equine welfare organisations working together to help the victims of the bushfires ... all working together and doing a wonderful job! We are simply directing our financial support via TREW as they were our first point of contact after the fires. Rather than list them all here, we encourage you to google them and find out how things are progressing.

The horses we rescue are blissfully unaware of your generosity, however we sincerely appreciate the support!

The book costs $65 and is full of vouchers that give (mostly) two-for-one savings on cost of meals / hotels / entertainment venues etc.

The participating venues range from McDonalds and Eagle Boys Pizza through to lovely restaurants in Perth, Margaret River and everywhere in between.

Excellent - have sent you copy of the advertising flyer so you can tell all your friends about it too.

Between DP, SC and me - we already have 14 confirmed orders ... and payment banked for several of those!

Spread the word team - the sales target is 100 books!

Update 03/04/09 ... cofirmed orders now = 19 books!

Thanks Pegasus - I will pm details to you re order process / payment etc.

and special thanks! ... that now means we have 20 confirmed orders ... which was our "qualifying" target for the company who produce the books. This now means we have the opportunity to take 30 (+?) books on consignment ... and gives us a greater chance of getting a better allocation for next year!

that's 20 sold and 80 to go to achieve target.

All of which will help WA equines ... with 20% of 2009 profits also going to the Victorian equine victims of the bushfires ... keep it coming people! Very Happy
